Ingenious Apartment Idea: Charlie’s Studio

Charlie’s Studio, a tiny apartment turned into one amazing little space.  The studio was designed by Laura Ballinger Gardner. Her team built Charlie’s wall storage unit, had it and filled it with guitars and what seems like an impressive vinyl collection…The concept sketches by Anne Allen Goelz shows how much you really can do in an itty-bitty space. The apartment has birch plywood furniture, the bed is tucked under the raised platform and the clothes can be stored in more birch casework. The layered rugs hide the cheap, contractor-grade linoleum floor.

“Those toolboxes by the front door are quite expensive,” Gardner said. They are Gerstner & Sons pieces, “very beautiful, American-made wood toolboxes. People don’t want to carry them around anymore because they’re heavy, but we thought it’s something he would have.”

My husband and i have been very ecstatic that Edward could deal with his reports out of the ideas he gained out of the web site. It’s not at all simplistic to simply find yourself giving away key points a number of people could have been trying to sell. We really do understand we now have the blog owner to be grateful to because of that. These explanations you made, the easy web site menu, the relationships you make it easier to instill – it is all excellent, and it is making our son and us do think this idea is exciting, and that is quite pressing. Thank you for all!
