DIY Christmas Painted Jars

You don’t have to be a little artist to make this next project. Ask your kids if they want to join you and put your creativity mind to work with these brilliant and also simple DIY Christmas project. You can use these cute jars to decorate your home for Christmas or just give them away as gifts to your friends and family.

You will need the following materials and supplies: empty glass jar / brushes / micron black & brown craft pens / white paint pen / acrylic matte spray sealer / acrylic paint colors /

Instructions: Begin your project with the preparation of the jars: wash the jars and remove all labels and glue. After that rinse once with white vinegar. You can use also rubbing alcohol. Apply the first base coat and let it dry completely. After this you can apply up to 2 coats of acrylic paint. Now you have to trace the pattern of the snowman (you can make also a Santa, or a rain deer). Paint the snowman with what colors you like. Make the eyes, nose and mouth using the different colors craft pens. Don’t worry: if your snowman will have “strange” colors than your project for sure will be unique. Now you have only one last step to do: use acrylic spray sealer and spray with 2-3 coats your little project. You can even use felt and make an awesome ribbon to tie at the top of the jar. Enjoy!!!
