DIY Christmas Wreath Using Plastic Bottles

Put your creativity to work and learn how to make a Christmas wreath using plastic bottles. Don’t toss away those empty plastic bottles, make a creative and original craft from them. Gather the following supplies: nylon thread (the longer the better), plastic bottles (only the bottom), spray paint (we will use a gold one bu you can use any other color you prefer), nails, pliers, scissors, a beautiful, big red and green bow. Use a scissor and cut the bottom of the plastic bottles. Now spray paint the bottoms with golden spray paint. Now start making cuts between the “legs” of the bottle bottom. Shape the bottom of the bottles so that they will look like a beautiful, big flower.   Also  you can learn how to make penguins using plastic bottles  !

Drill a hole in the middle of the new “flower”. Take the nylon thread and start passing it through the holes of the “flowers”. When you think is enough (the more “flowers” you put on the nylon thread the bigger the plastic wreath will be).

Glue a big bow on the top of the wreath and also use a ribbon to tie it. And there you have it. It is really beautiful and different. Happy Christmas!

When you use so many bottle legs for a single wreath, what do you do with the remaining top part of those bottles
Can you suggest something that matches with the wreath made from the rest of the bottle parts

If you have a garden and love flowers you can use the top part of the bottles to keep the flowers warm in the winter. Or you can make a bird house, or even a vertical garden.
